Thankful Thursday

1. The Internet
I get so many ideas from other people on the internet. I get ideas for parenting, partying, crafting, and everything in between. I love reading other people's blogs and I love when I have a lot of things in common with said people. It makes me feel human. It makes me feel like I have a support system in friends that I would have otherwise ignored when I go to facebook and see the little number in the corner in the red indicating that someone, somewhere has made an effort to look at my profile.

2. My Husband
My husband is not perfect. He does not always 'get' me, he is not quiet and he is not realistic-at times. But, he is my husband and I picked him for a few reasons. I love that he is so handy. When he gets home from work, he doesn't shower right away because he wants to do more dirty work around the house. We are installing hardwood floor right now, and the people who helped the most were members of his family and for that I am extremely thankful. He puts a lot of time into our house to make our home. He is protective of me and our son, and really I could not ask for him to be perfect, because I am not perfect at all, and he loves me.

3. My Family
My mom and my sister are always there for me. My mom does so much for me, and she loves my child to pieces. My Aunt Lori lives in Arizona now and has for almost two years and it is as if she was meant to be here, near us. My sister brings me much joy in my life and she knows it. Her kids, well they make me smile every time I see them (which is pretty often), they bring me happiness too. My in-laws, the Goldings, oh they are heaven sent. I appreciate them so much. They help us out tremendously, even though none of them live in Arizona. I am so glad that I have a family that I get along with, and never want to part with.

4. Air Conditioning
This week Phoenix has reached temperatures up to 102 degrees. This weekend we consider is "cooling off" because it will only be around 87 degrees. While I enjoy the warm weather, I must say that I would never ever live here if it weren't for A.C. I don't know how my ancestors before me did it! I am almost dying when the A.C. is set at 75. Spring is long gone, Summer is here to stay for the next 6 months for sure.

My lack of posting is eating away at me, and I must say it makes me want to post even less. But I am busy. And I'm coming around, so don't you, forget about me. Don't don't don't don't you forget about me.

Oh Regan, You do have a pretty cool family and husband, and well A/C is pretty good. I couldn't live here without it. I also couldn't live here without the internet! So I guess what I'm saying is I'm thankful for those things too! Don't worry I will never forget you!
