Thankful THURSDAY

My sister is the best. She is my only "real" sibling and you see sometimes when people ask me how many siblings I have I only say one. Because we grew up together in the same house and I've never lived with my brothers or other sister. And did you know that we are just alike? Sure there are some minor differences, but for the most part we have totally the same things in common. And we know where each other is coming from. I am thankful that a lot of family is the reason why Jason has a job. In the past it was my mom, his parents, and his uncle, and now it's my sister. He is very hard worker and my sister recognizes that and she supports it. And she helps out where she can. If it's her place to say something she will, if it isn't, I usually don't tell her, but she has the best ear for venting. She understands me. And I sure am glad she's around!

2. My House
Oh house, you bring me much joy. You bring me a lot of other issues too, but mostly it's just joy. You are so big (for us) that cleaning you and keeping you presentable is a task that can be overwhelming, but I don't mind doing it because I am so proud to own you. I love our cul-de-sac and our neighbors are fantastic-so far. I am liking living in Maricopa too. There is nothing that I would rather have right now in this point in my life than a house like this to share with my husband and our son.

3. Caffeine
Caffeine might be the only reason why I've never tried cocaine. I do believe there is an addiction to caffeine and other non-illegal substances and I think I have one to caffeine. I know it's silly and I could probably find a more natural way to get energy, but I rely on caffeine most days. I have been limiting it to just one thing a day that contains it, and truly, I do not need it and most of the time I think it's a pretty subconscious feeling, but alas, I am still thankful for the inventor of caffeine.

4. Griffin
Griffin is the reason why I get to stay home. He smiles at me millions upon millions times a day. He does something new each day that surprises me. I wish I could capture his whole existence on video so I could just rewind and show people his cuteness. BUT I AM THE ONLY ONE who gets to really really spend a lot of time with him (and I AM his Mom) but anyway I am grateful for these days. They might not last much longer because I may have to start working again, but for now, I'm enjoying my time.

LOVE Kelly and caffeine too!

I might love them both a little too much.
