4th of July in Pictures

For the fourth, our whole AZ family (My mom, Chris, CJ, Helyn, Kelly, Mike, Cody, Conner, Jason, Griffin and me) spent the day at my mom's house eating and hanging out. We watched the fireworks from Tumbleweed Park in Chandler. It was a great day. Only about 93 degrees too! Usually, it's very hot and then it rains a hot rain, making it humid. It was good this time.

I made these star shaped watermelon pieces. Thanks to Kami at No Biggie for the idea.

Of course I had to make a treat so I went with sugar cookies. Here I am with my creations.

The best part was they were very soft. And festive!

My beautiful sister Kelly brought some awesome head wear for the festivities.

My mom got in on it too.

And CJ, my step-sister and her Grandma, Helyn.

There was some lounging by Cody.

Helyn whipped out her iPad for some jealousy induced moments. I didn't get to play with it :(

And then there were some waiting for fireworks. This is when we all pulled out our fancy devices (Blackberries, iTouch, Droid, Android, whatever CJ has) and played games and showed off our devices to each other... And blew bubbles with the kiddos.

And of course a firework show! We hope everyone else had a great 4th of July!
