Thanks, Thursday

Soooo Thankful Thursday for me always seems to land after a Wacky Wednesday because, I'm never keen on being thankful when it's time to write my list. Last night was no different, I fought with Jason all afternoon (little fights that is) then he turned his nose up at what I made for dinner and the lunch meat I bought, I burned my thumb on the oven, and broke the top of my cake stand. I was sad. After I put the little to bed, I took 2 Benadryls and lay in bed. Finally able to cry quietly, glad that day was over and I could forget it all. That said, I do always, always have something to be thankful for. I am thankful for food to cook in the oven, my husband for picking fights with me because he is near me and if I ever lost him, I would be more sad than about arguing over toilet paper and diapers (for reals). I am thankful that, after a neat twist of fate, we had enough money to pay our bills despite turn-off warnings AND we were able to send a cashiers check to Arizona for taxes. As I sit here typing this, I am sitting under the most wonderful ceiling fan, drinking a cold Diet Pepsi, and listening to my son slumber on the baby monitor. My life, is far from perfect. This month, next month, they're all going to be tight and maybe rocky, but that's our life. And I'm thankful for the little things.
